An update on the 2024/25 Mango growing season

Looking toward the upcoming mango growing season, experts and growers are optimistic about strong yields compared to previous years thanks to a strong flowering at the beginning of the season.
The total volume of fruit marketed fluctuates from season to season, due to seasonal conditions and the irregular bearing nature of the crop. Over the last 3 years, the average crop has been between 70,000 and 75,000 tonnes. The region of Darwin alone is looking to produce 2.4 million trays this season alone – slightly up on 2.1 million in the 2023/24 season.
The seasonal harvest starts in the Northern Territory in July/August, and typically runs until March/April. During this time at Avondale, starting mid-October, we intend to process over __ tonnes of mango and stone fruit for Aussie food manufacturers, bakeries and food service clients.
